Rusalka

Rusalka is another work in a series of sculptures combining the human figure with natural stone. It was originally meant to look slightly different, but sometimes, during the creative process, a sculpture tells you what form it wants to take. Perhaps I will return to the original idea one day. This garden sculpture could find its place in the shade of a tree, near a bench – a quiet companion for an afternoon coffee.
