About the artist
Pavel Cupák
Sculpture built on clear, restrained form and respect for material.
His work connects figurative sculpture and design with long experience of art in public space. He works in bronze, stone, wood, concrete and contemporary casting materials. His studio and gallery are closely connected to the landscape of the Beskids.

Gallery in Trojanovice
The gallery is a living organism. It stands next to Pavel Cupák's studio, so newly completed works often move directly into the space – sometimes as part of a prepared installation, sometimes simply as objects worth seeing.
The display changes almost every day. Visitors can see most of the sculptures presented on this website, as well as smaller works, and experience their true scale, material and surface. The gallery also hosts recurring and one-off events throughout the year.

An established tradition
Advent Sundays at the gallery
The gallery opens to the public every Advent Sunday, with a personal introduction to the works by Pavel Cupák.
Visitors are welcomed with complimentary alcoholic or non-alcoholic punch and Christmas biscuits. Neighbours, art lovers and passers-by meet here in a warm and informal atmosphere.
